Many organizations in Houston encourage employees to participate in charitable giving by matching employee contributions to educational institutions and cultural organizations.

Do you know that when you join the Powell PTO, donate to the PTO or volunteer to the PTO, your employer will match your contribution, in some cases up to 200% matching.

You can double your impact and stretch your dollar (even your PTO membership fees). It cost you nothing other than 3 minutes of your time to help your child at Powell.

Where do I start?

STEP 1

Login to your Company's Employee portal and look for the "volunteer" or "charitable matching".

Please note that each company's employee intranet experience is slightly different but this is one of the most common way.

STEP 2

Once you are there, in the search function - type in COLIN POWELL PTO

We have a screenshot at the bottom that shows how the Colin Powell Elementary Parent Teacher Organization The Woodlands PTO page.

STEP 3

Select "Request a Match" for your PTO dues, or if you made a donation.

You can select "Track Time" if you volunteer your time as your company will donate a some amount for the time spent per hour.

Don't forget to hit Submit .
